Planning Task Three: 60 Second Pitch

The Pitch Video:

How I Made the Video
I decided to work on a rough script for the video so, even if I started improving part of it, I would at least have an outline for what I needed to say. With such a short timeframe, it wouldn't be beneficial to go off on a tangent.

I used the suggested topics for the pitch and filled in the blanks with information relevant to my magazine which gave me the rough script to follow.

I knew I also needed a respectable outfit as the pitch is based around the TV series Dragon's Den and they focus on "aspiring entrepenuers" as stated by BBC iplayer. It wouldn't be respectable to wear pyjamas or a hoodie so I picked out a decent outfit that would represent the fashion magazine as a whole.

I then recorded the pitch. It took me a little while to get it right as I often stumble over my words or ramble on much longer than a minute but after a few days of attempts, I got it right and felt very proud of myself.
